Qualifications House UK (QHUK) maintains the www.sagsonportal.com Website

Welcome to Sagson Portal, an educational and professional services platform operating through entities in the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates. For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"):

  • In the United Kingdom, Sagson Portal operates through Qualifications House UK (QHUK).
  • In the United Arab Emirates, Sagson Portal operates through Sagson Educational Portal, established in Ajman Free Zone.

Throughout these Terms, references to "Sagson Portal", "Sagson", "we", "us" or "our" mean the relevant operating entity responsible for providing the particular course, programme, product or service. The applicable operating entity will normally be identified on the relevant invoice, receipt, payment confirmation, programme documentation, service contract or other transaction documentation. These Terms govern your access to and use of Sagsonportal.com (the "Website"), including courses, programmes, products, professional services and other features or services available through the Website. By accessing the Website, creating an account, enrolling in a course or programme, purchasing a product or service, or otherwise using Sagson Portal, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy and, where applicable, our Refund Policy. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the Website or its services.

   1. USE OF THE WEBSITE

Sagson Portal grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to access and use the Website and its services in accordance with these Terms.

You may use the Website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, damage or interfere with the use of the Website by another person.

Sagson Portal may update, modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Website or its functionality where reasonably necessary.

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of the Website, its software, course materials or other intellectual property to users.

   2. USER ACCOUNTS

Certain Sagson Portal services may require users to create an account.

You are responsible for:
• Providing accurate and current registration information;
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your username and password;
• Preventing unauthorised access to your account; and
• Activities undertaken through your account where resulting from your failure to maintain appropriate account security.

You must notify Sagson Portal promptly if you believe that your account or login credentials have been lost, compromised or used without authorisation.

Sagson Portal reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that are used fraudulently, unlawfully or in material violation of these Terms.

   3. COURSES AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMES

Sagson Portal provides access to online courses, training programmes and other educational and professional-development opportunities.

Where applicable, relevant information concerning the course or programme, including its description, learning outcomes, delivery method, duration, fees and other requirements, will be provided on the relevant course or programme page.

Learners are responsible for reviewing the relevant information before enrolling.

Sagson Portal may make reasonable changes to course content, instructors, schedules, delivery methods or learning materials where necessary to maintain or improve the quality, relevance or availability of a programme.

Such changes should not materially reduce the overall educational service purchased by the learner.

Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, completion of a Sagson Portal course or programme does not guarantee:
• Employment;
• Promotion;
• Professional licensing;
• University or college admission;
• Immigration or visa outcomes; or
• Any particular professional or commercial result.

Where a course leads to an externally regulated, accredited or awarded qualification or certificate, any additional rules imposed by the relevant awarding, accreditation or regulatory organisation may also apply.

   4. PROFESSIONAL AND CONTRACTED SERVICES

Sagson Portal may provide consultancy, educational, institutional, training, business and other professional services.

Such services may be governed by a separate:
• Service delivery contract;
• Proposal;
• Statement of work;
• Partnership agreement; or
• Other written agreement.

Where a separately executed agreement applies, its specific terms will govern the relevant service.

If there is a conflict between these Terms and a separately executed agreement, the terms of the specific agreement will prevail in relation to the relevant service.

   5. PURCHASES AND PAYMENTS

Sagson Portal may accept payments through Visa, Mastercard, debit cards, credit cards or other payment methods displayed on the Website.

Payments may be processed through authorised third-party payment service providers.

Users may therefore also be subject to the applicable payment provider's terms, conditions and privacy practices.

The price and currency displayed and confirmed during checkout will be the price and currency applicable to the transaction.

A user's bank, card issuer or payment provider may independently apply currency-conversion charges, international transaction fees or other charges. Sagson Portal is not responsible for charges imposed independently by a user's financial institution.

Users are responsible for ensuring that:
• Payment information provided is accurate;
• They are authorised to use the selected payment method; and
• Sufficient funds or credit are available to complete the transaction.

   6. PAYMENT CONFIRMATION

Once payment has been successfully received, a payment confirmation notice will be sent to the client or learner by email within 24 hours of receipt of payment.

Users should retain their transaction confirmation and relevant course, product or service documentation for their records.

   7. REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS

Refunds and cancellations are governed by the Sagson Portal Refund Policy available on the Website.

Unless otherwise stated in a specific programme or service agreement, the following principles apply:

Approved refunds will be returned to the original method of payment.

Refund processing may take approximately 10 to 45 days, depending on the issuing bank, card provider, payment processor and original payment method.

Users should review the full Sagson Portal Refund Policy before purchasing.

Users retain ownership of their original content unless otherwise agreed.

Where content is submitted for publication or use through the platform, the user grants Sagson Portal a non-exclusive licence to host, store, reproduce, process and display that content to the extent reasonably necessary to provide, administer or promote the relevant service.

Users must not submit content that:

Sagson Portal reserves the right to take reasonable action against users who violate these requirements.

   12. THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES AND LINKS

The Website may contain links to websites, applications or online services operated by third parties.

Sagson Portal does not control third-party websites and is not responsible for their content, security, availability or privacy practices.

The inclusion of a third-party link does not necessarily constitute endorsement of the third party, its website or its services.

Users should review the relevant terms and privacy policies before providing personal information to or transacting with third-party services.

However, no internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.

Users are responsible for taking reasonable precautions to protect their passwords, devices and account information.

   16. DISCLAIMER

Sagson Portal takes reasonable steps to ensure that information and educational content available through the Website is accurate and appropriate.

However, except where expressly stated otherwise, Website content is provided for educational and informational purposes.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Sagson Portal does not guarantee that all Website content will always be:
• Complete;

Professional, business, legal, financial or other specialist information provided through courses or Website materials should not automatically be treated as individual professional advice unless the relevant service expressly provides such advice.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any warranty, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.

   17. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sagson Portal will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Website or its services.

Sagson Portal will not be responsible for losses resulting solely from circumstances outside its reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

Where Sagson Portal is legally liable in connection with a paid course, programme, product or service, any limitation of liability will remain subject to applicable consumer-protection legislation and other mandatory legal requirements.

   18. INDEMNITY

• Unlawful use of the Website;
• A material breach of these Terms;
• User-submitted content that infringes third-party rights;
• Fraudulent conduct; or
• Deliberately harmful conduct.

This provision does not limit any statutory or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
