Vote Yes for Allen County Casino recently unveiled a 90-second advertisement that promotes the possible economic benefits of bringing a gaming resort to Indiana’s third-most populous county.

The campaign claims that a casino in or near Fort Wayne, the second-largest city in the Hoosier State, could create 2,000 new permanent jobs and generate more than $100 million annually in new government revenue without raising taxes.

We think education is key,” Vote Yes for Allen County Casino spokesperson Tim Haffner told WPTA. “Remove some of the mystery and some of the misinformation that, for various reasons, seems to recirculate. Our goal is to make sure people are fully informed, and when they vote in November, can make an informed decision.”

Other than Station, Las Vegas Sands had been the other largest non-union holdout in Las Vegas for many years. But when the Venetian-Palazzo was sold to Apollo Global Management in 2021, the firm had no issues with Culinary and ratified the property’s first-ever deal with the union in 2024.

As has been flagged in previous reports, Regulus highlighted that the top 1% of active customers accounts for almost 50% of black market revenue across Europe. This follows a similar trend across licensed gambling as the report highlights “online gambling is a consumer discretionary expenditure item.
